Existential Decision Making is a place to think, express, and be.

It is a place where I am free to share, create, and connect.

Since I could remember a favourite past time of mine was - and still is - analysing life. Looking for the themes, patterns, and common threads. I enjoy paying attention to, and expanding out life.

Ceramics and art, in more recent years, has become a way to still enter that space, but with less rumination. To materialise feelings. To let go of attachment. To see what prevails beyond the confines of my own mind. What takes form between the gaps of my control. Then celebrating that.

For me, art came after high school. It was not something I grew up doing - although some might say the way I performed on the stage of life was an art practice in of itself - so I know what life with and without art is like. Life with art is better.

I had to build the skill, build my confidence to share, take risks in backing what I desired to create. I was conscious every step of the way, all decisions I made intentionally.

For now my ceramics take precedent. It’s an awesome magnet for community. And pretty things are awesome. But the goal is much bigger.
